Who are we?

Sigma Industry North is a growing technology consulting company with offices in Luleå and Umeå. Our Safety team works closely with the industry to help our clients create safe, sustainable, and compliant machines, processes, and products – from idea to reality.

The team's focus is on CE marking, machine safety, process and product safety, where we merge legal requirements with technology and real-world application. We believe in long-term relationships, both with our clients and with each other. Our ambition is clear: to be the natural choice in the field.

About the role

As a consultant in Safety, CE marking, and Compliance, you will help our clients navigate the borderland between regulations, technology, and practical application. You will work on analyzing risks, interpreting directives and standards, and translating requirements into concrete, functional, and safe solutions in real environments.

The assignments vary and are shaped together with the client's needs. They can involve anything from current situation analyses, risk assessments, documentation support, as well as interpretation and guidance of laws and standards, or generally as support during changes, renovations, and commissioning.

The work takes place both from our office and on-site with clients – often close to production and technology. You will have an active role in the projects and be involved all the way: from early analysis to final solution.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety, technology, and understanding.

You are curious, driven, and want to learn more about:

• Machine, process, and product safety
• CE marking and regulations
• How legal requirements should actually work in practice

If you have experience in the field, that is a plus – but it is your attitude, engagement, and willingness to develop that are crucial.

You are honest in your work approach, dare to ask questions, and take responsibility for understanding in depth. You are happy to share your knowledge and contribute to the team, while also being humble about what you do not yet know.

You enjoy thinking independently, reasoning about problems and their solutions, and want to create sustainable and well-thought-out paths forward.

A technical education is advantageous, but not a requirement. Relevant experience, interest, and drive are valued the most.
